OPIUM / AlbatrOSS workshop (25 February 2004)
- The OPIUM and AlbatrOSS projects will be hosting a joint end of projects
workshop in the Fokus building in Berlin on Wed 25th February 2004.
The objective of the workshop will be to promote the results of the
projects to a targeted community of invited attendees.
- The projects are complementary in their topics 2.5/3G Networks and Service
testbeds (Opium) and 3G OSSs and Services (AlbatrOSS) and should raise
some interesting debates and discussions.
Successful OPIUM Audit
- The OPIUM project completed a successful Audit in Brussels on 25 November
2003, based on the first phase of the OPIUM trials. The first phase
of the trials concentrated on the provisioning of services on isolated
testbeds.
OPIUM at IST-Milan 2003
- The OPIUM project hosted a stand at the IST-Milan 2003 conference,
where it provided project demonstrations as well as project blue papers
to all interested parties.
OSA/Parlay Interop Event
- This event, held in conjunction with the OPIUM project, was the first to test the
interoperability of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) defined by the Parlay
and ETSI communities, was held from 14-17 April 2003 at ETSI headquarters in Sophia Antipolis
in the South of France

- The OPIUM website now has a new design. If you have any comments,

Kick Off
- 17th, 18th and 19th of June, kick off meeting takes place in Dublin,
Ireland.
